Coffee Table made from found timber. Table surface from a palate, legs and shelf from found tongue-and-groove.
The coffee table was built to replace a table made from a small scavanged palate resting on milk-crates.
Having decided to keep the interesting surface of the palate as a feature, I decided to scrounge the rest of the materials for the table from the local urban environment.
Some discarded tongue-and-groove boards have been used for the shelf and the legs. The legs have been cut on angles but still expose the tongues and the grooves as much as possible. The dark and light sides of the boards have been mixed to add character.
